Mountsides Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 03081478, is committed to protecting your privacy and takes it very seriously.  The sections below make up our privacy policy and explains how Mountsides Limited may collect, use or disclose information about you.

What Information we collect about you:

We collect this information when you contact us, approach us to Act, correspond with us whether by phone or email.

We will also ask you for a copy of your Passport together with a current Utility Bill and or Bank Statement to enable Messrs Mountsides Limited to comply with Money Laundering Regulations.

How we will use this information:

We will use this information so that we can deliver accountancy, audit, taxation and advisory services.

We will also provide (at your request) information to third parties ie. Mortgage Broker, Finance House, Bank for the purposes of accounting/taxation only.

How we protect your information:

Our computers use up to date industry standard software procedures to secure and encrypt the data that we hold.

Disclosure of your information:

We may disclose your personal information to associates and other third parties who undertake elements of our services to you and where such disclosures are made they will be carried out in accordance with the requirement of UK data protection laws.

In addition, we may disclose your personal information to any successors in title to our business or to a buyer in the event that we, or any of our assets are acquired by a third party (as your information may be one of the transferring assets).

Cleansing Data:

At your request we will delete your Data from our systems and/or provide this to you for storage for the appropriate period as laid out by HMRC.  (Statutory Requirements)

Destruction of Data:

All data that is held in excess of the Statutory Requirements will be deleted from all computer systems and servers in a secure and safe manner.  All paper files will be destructed in a confidential and safe manner, as per Data Protection Regulations, after the statutory period has passed.
